Default Axel question

Ive heard the carrier is different from an 04-05 to an 06 but arent the axels the same? I want to get a 2+2 aftermarket for my 04 and didnt know if they were year specific aside from 04-08. Had a g force break in the past and then had a lonestar that did me well without issues. Anyone have suggestions for a budget friendly quality axel?

All of the carb models use the same axle. G force is probably the best budget friendly axle there is. Anything aside from that your gonna spend good money for. RPM, Lonestar, Durablue, etc...

Gforce $180 brand new shipped to your door with a warranty. It's what I run.

You can buy 2 G Forces axles for the price of an RPM, but I swear by RPM. I think they (RPM) are the best out there. With G Force, you can always have a spare if/when you bent/break it.

Personally I would buy a used good condition Lonestar over a G-force if the price is right. Only downside to buying a used axle is that you dont get the warranty.
