Default Subframe problems!

broke my subframe at englishtown this weekend. dont have the cash for a good one so i wanna just put a stocker on it for the rest of the season. question is is the older carb model bikes subframes the same as the R? theres a bunch on ebay but i am wondering if there interchangable.
thanks

Yes, the older subframes will work. I believe they are the same as long as you buy an oem one. The aftermarket subframes for the R are a little different.

I'm happy with the JB 6pt on my R. The are expensive, but I can almost gurantee that will be the last subframe I ever buy.

They will fit. That is 1st hand experience. I used a stock 2004 YFZ subframe on my 2009 R and they matched up just fine. It lasted about 3 months until I cracked (seat jumping a few larger jumps.

Definitely consider JB or Walsh next year. The stock aluminum will continue to crack and break.
