Hey guys I was out riding my yfz and when I got done I was looking the quad over I notices the axle nut was loose, its a g force axle nut with a g force axle that came on the quad when I bought it and its not budging and idk if its left hand thread or not I don't have big enough wrenches just pipe wrenches. I don't wanna mess the treads up, help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I run the same axle to and mine has come lose a few times as well even after tightening everything to spec . You really have to tighten that Allen screw tight to keep it from comeing lose and check it every other ride. The one thing I can say is invest in the 20$ wrench set they sell for that axle sold through rocky mountain atv. You can use a tork wrench with them.

I got it! I didnt have any red loctite, but on my old blaster I wrapped some electrical tape around the threads and it didnt loosen up. Maybe that will work? Next time it comes loose ill put some loctite. Thanks for all the help guys.

Might want to take a look at your carrier bearings or keep an eye on them because I'm guessing if you were having trouble with the axle nut adjusting it did not just move on its own. And for next time what works well for me is to remove the pinch bolt and tap a small chisel in from the side of the nut to open it up a bit then you can screw it in and out by hand.
