I got some 07 yfz stock shocks and they need a good rebuild. A buddy of mine has some 08 yfz stock shocks that are used but good condition. Would it be worth the time and money for just a high speed compression? I would really like to put yfzx shocks on but I don't know if they would work with stock arms??

If you have standard travel 07 arms, the efi shocks will be to long. If your shocks are shot, and you can pick up your buddies shocks for cheap, go for it! Once you can afford it, go long travel and never look back.

Then ya, I would say its deffenately worth it for ya. The aditional adjustment will allow you to really tune your shocks in for whoops and ruts. You will have to spend some time figuring out what works best for you. The changes will be minimal and hardly noticed by a novice rider, but for a more aggressive rider, they will be noticeable.

A stock set of shocks in good usuable condition, I'd say $150 at the most. I think you'd be better alot better off finding a good used set that may need rebuilt or something along those lines. Even if you give up a little bit of adjustability by switching over to some aftermarket shocks, youd be ahead.
