Maybe we should start a compilation of jetting specs according to exhaust type, mods. and location...might give other members a place to start when modifying their bikes. Just a thought...I'll list mine soon as I get home from work and figure out what they are, exactly.

I'm running the Dr.D pipe with a GYT-R header
No lid
Noss Machine intake flange with a K&N filter and outerwear

170 main jet
45 pilot jet
JD blue needle on 4th clip

I just bought the jet4power a/f meter but I still need to install it.
I'll post results when I do.

As it is this thing pulls all the way to redline in each gear. My top speed was 78.51 mph using a Magellan GPS. That's without the GYT-R header.
I forgot to add I ride at about 3000ft. elevation.

HOTcams
13:1 gytr piston
alba full exhaust
EsR intake no airbox
48 pilot at 1 3/4 turns
ncvq needle at clip 5

5000 feet 180 main
7300-7500 feet 178 main
8500 feet and above 175 main

these main jet figures are rich i believe but i like my motor to run cool and if it can burn it why not??
all these mains my bike still runs very fast on and im still kind of messing with things and experimenting...the biggest difference for me was running a 50/50 race mix and the ESR did a great job of feeding the gas to the cams...

I was thinking the higher you go in elevation the richer the jetting should be due to less density in the air. Damn, am I having a brain fart or what?

This is what I am running at 1500 to 3000 feet...

I change my plug after every glamis season and it is a light brown or coffee color... I might go up to 175m, when I ride wide open desert, feels like I'm hitting the rev limiter at wide open throttle....
How does your plug look at 1500 to 3000 feet??
