so after disassembling the side case i found out the yfz has no hole for the oil nozzle, i bought the 07 nozzle and o rings but i guess i have to sell them. is there anything else i can do to make another nozzle work? i was just ready to machine the cover and put everything back together but now i guess i have to order the early 04 nozzle from J&T, i would really prefer to do something right now rather then assemble everything right now back together and wait for the new nozzle to come in the mail. any help would be appreciated. thanks

The 07 squirter is what you want. All J&T does is machine the case to accept that squirter. There isn't an "early 04" squirter. You may be thinking about the "oil mod" but, you screw that up, its your ass.

Call up J&T and ask them what they will just machine the case for.

thanks for the responses, but like i said the early 2004 yfz450's never had a cast on the cover to accept the 07 oil nozzle, they made a casting change late in 2004, so you wont know what you have until the cover is removed. i have a mill in my garage and i am pretty sure i can do it, pretty simple really. the cover i have does not even have a hole, its just a little mold there for the oil to pass through to the oil filter, so i either have to get a new side cover or the J&T early 04 nozzle
