Default Athena gaskets

Anyone know where I can get just the head and base gasket from the athena 480 kit? I've only been able to find a complete top end rebuild kit which includes valve seats and other stuff I dont need.

Or will any other gaskets work?

I think you can find tusk or cometic gaskets for just the jug and base for a 98mm kit. I agree if most of your gaskets are new and have not been overtorqued you should be able to reuse them. I dont promote this method to people, but if you go this route and all others are in good condition you should come out ok.....

you can order then straight from Cometic ,thats where I get most of my gaskets from.

you can order just what you need ,they also have a wide range of head and base gasket sizes so you can dial in you quench height.

they have copper , stainless steel, aluminum ,fiber, and rubber coated steel base gaskets

I have heard that some people have issues lining up properly when using the Cometic gaskets with the athena jugs.

You can't just slap a cosmetic gasket set on there..If you want just the gaskets ebay usually has them, if you use cosmetic then you will need 2 base gaskets because the Athena cylinder is shorter than a OEM cylinder...I will find u a link on ebay. And don't use Tusk head gaskets, they wont hold any kind or high compression.
Check out this item I found on eBay:

Here is a Cosmetic 98mm set but you will need another base gasket.
