You dont have to connect the 2 wires together on the 2 wire plug, You can run them apart or together, it will change your timing slightly each way, now on the 3 plug one you have to connect 2 wire together I beilive but I have not done that yet.

i bypassed the plug right on the left side of the gas tank and it ran a little better but it is still idling enormously high....i played with the idle adjustment right by the airboot and even though it helped a bit it was still not what i was looking for......can there maybe be somethign stuck in the slide holding it opening therefore thats why its revving so high? or does it still have to do with the electronic side of things??

Check where the cable goes into your carb, mine will rev high if it gets pulled a little.
