My problem with you is that you throw someone under the bus that is a legend in this sport, who do you respect? Making accusations that I know for a fact are not true. I have set back for years watching your BS on the internet without getting involved, but when you attack someone like Sparks with false information who has contributed more to this sport than most ever will, I take offense to that. I'm not a 20 year old kid that is easily impressed by your technical discussions or you 5 digit medical salary. Some of us are self made with honesty, integrity, and 8 digit salary's that could care less what's coming out of your mouth or how you prostitute your garage business by PMs to those that don't know any better. You attack other shops that make their living doing what you claim to be your hobby if they don't support your vision. It's time you realize that not everyone is a open target for you to take pop shots at on the internet. Heck, Sparks was around before the internet was even invented, he built his business the old fashion way with dedication, hard work, and integrity. Has he made mistakes, every business does at some point or another, but I know the man and know that he would not intentionally practice poor business ethics nor does he visit these forums to defends himself, so if you have a problem with him or me pick up the phone and handle it like a man. I know that's not your style, it's not as showy as the internet. As far as our bikes go, our HP numbers are just that, ours, and are never even printed. The dyno is a tuning tool, not a bragging one. Our trophies, championships, and national records over the years speak for themselves. I don't have to post graphs for people to know how fast our bikes are, they know, we have proved it all across the country.

You slam countless shops and builders for their work, yet you're the only one who cares about it. If people wanted to know the truth they would do the needed research before they spent their hard earned money...and lets be honest no one has benefited from peoples lack of knowledge more then you have...Its clear you don't provide the best service but you do sell an inferior product and the price reflexes that. You question other shops integrity, yet you alone have had an open donation to fund a dyno, you alone faked going out of business to generate more business, you alone blasted the yfz guys on the ORG and slammed honda guys here, you alone faked your wife having cancer...wtf is wrong with you, you're sick, even went as far as making up a story of adultery and lies to make a more profitable business...then you say you do this as a hobby, because your job pays x amount, if you don't need the money you have strange way of showing it. You have no room to talk about someones ethics, and selling practices... I dont share information, and I do it by choice not because I have nothing to share. All the development, research, parts and even dyno time; I paid for them so why would I hand it out freely to some people who don't even support me...I guess that's where we're different. This is my job not a hobby and Im good at it. As far as "chest beating" you invented the term because that's all you've ever done since I came on the scene back in 04, same ol John, same ol ill informed followers. Sadly not so many people support you now, primarily because they all either seen through your bs or died off from the sites...all you can do now is try and rally new troops, the mods ain't behind you, the sites ain't behind you...Get off your high horse old fella; you're going to die a very old and miserable man

Great post redandblue. Mixxy just slams everyone else if they don't agree with him. He is a hack and always will be. All the newbs on this site love until they get crushed in a race. Then they switch to a better shop.

boy oh boy... you guys sure showed me... i'm totally owned now... dominated actually....
circle jerks for all the winners...!! lol still.... not many high dollar big builds showing any dyno graphs.... cant show what you dont have.... so start all the yelping and whining to distract from the facts that you guys spend small fortunes ...and dont really get the power you want everyone to believe....

And on a side note, it looks like Eric's and Jordans 480s are making around the same numbers, I think they must be sharing secrets during pillow time..........

I can't remember if I had coffee this morning and you expect me to remember that? I would say 4-5 inches. I could go measure my cans (I have 3 dasa's right now) and let you know.

60 or close enough to it shouldnt be a huge deal especially if someones got extra cash.
the bb and stroker alone on a decent setup ive seen gain easily more than 5 hp from just bolt ons. that would make 53 hit atleast 58....and im sure the extra $$ can squeee out more depending how far the person feels like going. some of the already good setups on one of the dynos in this thread gained 7 plus just bolt ons. someone making 65 paid much more than a cheaper reliable build that makes just under 60.... so there both good builds but id take one that doesnt blow up right after its built

Very nice graph nayers. Good power indeed for a 470.
Bence, you do have a decent baseline to a potentially valid point but I wouldn't state that every build out there will work "better" by just adding bigger bolt ons. GOOD builds are specifically built for certain mods that go hand and hand together. Just throwing a bigger carb, or a big ported head doesn't always work. That's why some smaller builds with perfectly matched parts for one another will actually make more power than builds that are significally "larger". You have stated this before and I'm not sure where you get your facts from but large builds can be very reliable IF put together properly of course. There are some very reliable 500 to even 585 motors out there.... not sure why you think otherwise but I'm sure that's somethin' your dad told you. |
