i bought a dyno jet kit today and followed all the directions, used a 150 main jet the pilot jet that came with it, and the needle and what not, id like some advice i talked to a mechanic that has a 07 yfz like mine but his is a bb. when i told him what i used he said it was to lean. what do you guys think, it didnt seem to over heat, it ran like a charm.

150 seems small for the main. For winter I run a 178 main and 52 pilot, and summer I run a 170 with a 48 pilot. If its backfiring a lot it means your lean so increas jet size. If it seems boggy your rich so decrease jets.

the sizes of the dyno jet are different than oem jets FAQ Mikuni vs keihin vs dynojet
a 150 dynojet is a 165 keihin jet your jetting is fine |
