Default Four types of porters.... :)

I think nobody may be any better than anybody about getting power outta these 450's than everybody but somebody is best.....

Just seems to me that anyone that knows how to port is getting similar results to someone else that knows how to port....

Just saying....

Regards,

Rog

anyone who can spend hours on the dyno usually have the slight advantage because they find what exactly works.

Theres only so much you can get out of a head and still be rideable. Theres not only 1 builder that can unleash all the power in the head lol.

I also find it funny when some say (the power is within the head on the yfzs)

REALLY? Didnt know that.

This was kinda random of a post but ill agree that the end results should be similar....if the person porting knows what they are doing. and when comparing it needs to be apples to apples, not a full blown build vs a smaller build that has more potential.

You make absolutely no sense in your first sentence. And if you think that one porter can do as good of a job as another porter than you are crazy. There's a reason people go to certain companies and not just anyone. Also bence I have a dyno with a mmad head and a venom head on the same day same build and the mmad out out powers it, here is the graph. I don't know the build specifics just know all that was done was a head swap.

Nice graph!!! All porters are not the same. They are after the same goal but some know how to achieve it and some don't (check the graph)

I think it's the little container that you strap onto your handlebars for a powerband effect Shawn. Not sure though. =]

If they were all the same we'd all have $250 venom or ebay ported heads. Why would anyone use different companys if it were as simple as just knowing how to port heads.

Or some places that have it all and a CNC. Awesome work and really fast turn around time. Like Racers Edge who does some badass raptor CNC heads and turn around time is really quick. You get the best of everything
