got my bike tuned there. let me say that it was a very good experience. cool dude for sure.
my mods are below and only 3 hours on the topend. blue line is base run with my 190 main jet 4th clip in ncvq. it ran very lean. right away he said he didn't like it (15;1) and thru a 210 main jet and that got it below 14. since I ran a rat stack he wanted to cut an inch off my fci to make it shorter and fit better. it help the afr look better. 220 is what I ended up with and power didn't go up or down really and was low to mid 13s there was a chart of a 58 HP mmad build but the details we didn't know about. he said it had a ton of money into it. curve was same till 7500. anyone in Oregon I'd recommended Redline racing. nice shop. oh don't mind the mod in the sheet. its my mods in my sig ![]()

Cameron is a cool dude. I wish i could have a shop like that on my property.
That build could have been mine or a buddies actually before we made even more changes..lol. He had a couple mmad graphs but i believe mine was 59.4 somethin to exact. Anyhoo.. cameron's shop is awesome.

I don't know why he didn't know. they were high compression and race gas for sure. definetly good stuff either way.
for stage 3 hc and $250 into the head and pump gas. this obviously isn't a drag build. I think it does well for what it is. can't keep the front down in second gear launches with 6 paddles ;)

ok thats fine, that would put that mmad at 55 hp on redlines dyno and had way more money in it thats a fact. the bike runs very well and is a perfect duner for me right now. he said hes never seen 50 or more on any bolt on bike, 46-48.
before i could launch all day long the way im set up now in 2nd, now i lose lots of time because i have a very hard time controlling the front end..... thats with 6 paddle

If you are trying to compare a YFZ build to an R build you are a tard. When he says 2-3hp high that means that the other build wouldnt lose 2-3hp it would gain 2-3 from dynoing on redlines. BTW someone dynoed their FCI, dasa, MSD R on the same dyno as that MMAD R build and put down 43 fyi. Not bad #s for a budget build though either way.

there was a grapgh overplayed against mine that made 58 on that dyno and was a mmad build.
2-3 high compared to whatever dyno your comparing? would put mine at 51 and 55 for the mmad. not sure what I'm misshing. either way it had 4 more HP on the same dyno and like I was told had a lot more into it. its only one comparison, there were a couple if builds that made similiar power to mine that had somewhat similiar work.

I think this is a decent increase for the money. Mixxer...do you offer a more aggressive port? I would like to see you build a 60+ ss/sb if nothing else than to quiet a few of the nay sayers. I know you like reliable but people who want these motors know longevity is going suffer somewhat. Perhaps you've already done this and excuse me if you have. As most know.....big power is not made by porting alone. Lets see some power. I know you can do it.

i find it interesting rossier claim to add a real 2-3 hp from porting, maybe other builders have found a way to get solid 10 hp from porting alone nothing else. 48 is now 58.
a good test would be bolting on same year head 06-08 ported only, no bigger valves or anything. intake matched for 42mm carb, and bolt that onto my setup and tune it and see what happens. same dyno same correction factor. same everything just a different ported head. if it went straight to 60hp i'd have something to think about.

I think its more of an illusion because the can actually sits further back vs others. If you look at the placement and how far back the mid pipe comes, it just offsets the placement of the can. I was considering the barkers as my next pipe and thought the exact same thing. Until I looked a little closer and realized it was just the design of the head/mid pipe.
I wanted to be able to run 2 clamps but the can sits past that point on the sub frame... Me no likely
