Hey everyone what is everyone running on their race atvs? I have 14t front and 37t back going and felt strong and fast. What's everyone's thoughts. Stock for 06 is 14t / 38t.
I had great power coming out of turns, good power to power side around turns and good too end.

The reason I asked for people's gearings is because with a new chain on the atv it's too loose. Take the link out and it's to tight and won't fit. So I was thinking changing the gearing would either loosen or tight the chain to work better
i have read that the 36 tooth sprocket is too small to get over the axle hub, so you have to pull the axle out of the carrier then slide sprocket on. huge pain in the ass i have read
I ended up buying every available size for the yfz front and back and tried every combo. Id change them. Go drag race my buddies banshee a few times then take a few hard corners and hammer out of them. My favorite combo was 15t/38 . U can ride trails without gear searching . And if you have bike cams or a port its fun all around and faster
Anyone running a 15t/ 39t on 06 yfz? And how is it?
