Hello everyone. I own a 06 Banshee and am wanting to buy a used 4 stroke. I ride long distances, sometimes 50 miles or more on mainly flat graded dirt roads. I want a machine that is geared for mid range and top end. Which Yamaha 4 stroke would be best for me?
Thanks, Wheat |

I agree with "theskidmarker". The raptor 700 would be a good choice for what you described. The yfz450/450r/450x is built for more aggressive riding/racing and requires a little more maintainance. I own both of these.

I ride Raptor 700s now and then at work, but my personal machine is a YFZ450X. I personally prefer the fuel-injected YFZs to the Raptor, especially the handling and the lower stance. I took mine on a 300-mile ride in this past December and it was great. The X and the R are much better long-distance machines than the regular YFZ is.
