I know there has been a couple threads on here discussing this, but they were all years old.
My question is what is a good editing software for Go-Pro videos (clip, change speeds, effects and so on...). I dont want to spend 500$ on this crap, i think that's a lil crazy since I am just doing this for fun... I know of software's like vegas video pro and adobe premiere pro and stuff, but thats crazy expensive. I have the new Windows Live Movie Maker, but you cant edit the speed of the videos and stuff on the new one. It would be great if I could use a comp with just windows xp, but if windows 7 is needed, i can use my bro's comp... Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanx guys!

Im not going to say that you can or can not download it for free. But you may try googling it or looking it up on youtube.

With my old GoPro i used windows movie maker, but since the newer GoPros use a different file type I started using Adobe Premiere Pro CS5 that requires a lot out of your computer. My old dell couldnt use it, Adobe didnt even want to install said my computer sucked. But you can get these programs for free using torrent, how that program works no clue, thats why im glad i got friends that are complete nerds!

I have the new wmm, like I said in the original post, and its too simple. All you can do is clip videos and add music really... Looking for a software that allows speed changes, color and effects and so forth...
I just uninstalled utorrent bc i never use it! lol might have to get it back n look for some softwares, even tho i kinda dont wanna go that route... haha Thanx guys

If you don't want to spend the money on the good stuff:
If you have a PC use Premiere Elements. $99 version of Premiere Pro. If you have a Mac use Final Cut Express. $99 version of Final Cut Pro. |
