A while back on a trip through the internets I found a guy who builds a counterbalancer for the CR500 engine. It was a 10 min install type deal on the clutch side of the engine that reduced vibes enough to be able to run it in a quad chassis.

Well I got some updated pics after some fresh pc should have the motor in there tomorrow along with new pipe and silencer from esr hope it fits as good as my Paul turner if not I can return it for refund as long as I don't screw it up just don't know if I should go black or white ... and what graphics to run

Going with lakers since everything is basically new and they aren't to expensive at 515 shipped to me unless someone has some mint ones for less
I ll post more pics once the motor is in to give a better idea of final product
Also in the market for some billet hubs as well
And I ll post pics of the mounts as well tomorrow for those who asked

Well finally got unlazy today .... I ordered esr 499 kit pipe carb and intake
Painting my mounts and hopefully have the motor in and hopefully in a few weeks I ll be able to afford new plastics truck needed tires and bills and parents twenty fifth anniversary next month all my money for this thing was spent so I sanded down my plastics and cut the rears some more I don't understand why she doesn't look good with white plastics like the retro design from Honda
Maybe some new white lakers will look good with the old school graphics
Because these ones have been ridden hard probably through 6 Mx seasons
pix of the mounts to come

Looks sick!!!
There are way's around the counter balancer issue well kinda, like gussets, people fill there frames with foam, rubber engine mounts. Nothing unsubstantial but at least ride able. Too bad quad geometry doesn't work more like dirt bike.

i heard the 500 wasnt that bad but stock 250r is a 35mm. i went the oposite i have a 250r with a yz 450 motor. the 250r at 265 actually beat and won the pro nationals against the hondas, ltr and yfz buy jerimiha jones in the last year of non production racing. so cant really say the 250 motor is slower.
