A new seat cover is a must. I'm going to wait till I get it all put back together before I decide on one though. Vegas jeff is an awesome seat cover designer, I'm just gonna send him a pic of the bike and see what he comes up with. I hope this sob goes together easier than it came apart! Wen you guys broke yours down, did you unplug all of those dam plugs on the wiring harness or did you unbolt the stuff it was plugged into? Those plugs were a little tough to get unplugged.

My vote is pc the subframe same color as frame. Cant wait to see what vegas jeff comes up with for your seat. Its funny you mention how complicated these things are. I was poking around under the hood of my R today and i said to my brother 2 things. Damn we arent in Banshee country anymore. LOL and I hope i never have to work on this thing in the field. I have been using split loom covering up areas of the harness that are know to rub and cause problems and one thing i noticed in the connectors that i did unhook is that they are all dry. I have been putting dielectric on them before plugging them in. Id pull the connectors and clean/dielectric them. Cant hurt

I have got a bunch of new parts in, but no word on the Kashimas yet. They said it would be about the middle of Febuary before they got new ones in. I've still got a few parts to order and I'm still waiting on my stuff to come back from powder. My new swing arm is almost done and should be here sometime next week. Wait till you guys see my new swinger, JL Engineering is really upping his game with this one!

Only waiting on a few more parts to show up and my frame and other misc items will be back from powder on friday. I'm excited to get started on putting this thing back together, and I'm also a little nervous! My garage looks like I dissasembled a freakin hybrid car in here! haha anyways.. heres the updates so far.

I did take awhile, but Fox told me it would be mid feb before they could get them done, so I was warned. Also, I wasn't quite sure that I'd like the gold color, but they turned out to be much darker than I expected. My opinion is that they look great! As for the guard graphics, I had Phil at Esticky make them for me. He should still have the template I sent him so he could easily make you some. I hope to have some pics of it going back together as soon as this weekend. I'm at a stand still till my stuff comes back from powder.

Damn...there's a lot of money on that table.

What do you do, and are you hiring?

Can't wait to see the beast put back together. It'll be a damn good looking machine.

Looks like a profilter oil cover. The R/X uses the same one as the YFZ. Did you go with a stainless filter BBC or just keep using the paper filters?

Yes, its a Pro filter oil cover. I buy the paper oil filters off of ebay. I get 6~10 at a time with free shipping. Since I change my filter and oil every weekend, I didn't see the need to mess with a washable filter. Just throw the old one out and put the new one in!

I've debated a graphics kit a few times and really haven't made up my mind yet. I really like the clean look of the stock decals. I don't know if I want to cluter it all up with graphics or not? Maybe when I see it all put back together I'll be able to make a better decision.

I feel the same way about my bike. I haven't seen a graphics kit out there that I would put on my bike. I like the simple look.
