I just wanted to introduce myself. I am Jeremy. I just bought a 16 yellow ser and I am excited. The only downside is its not a yard bike. From what I have read, the raptor is more yard/trail friendly. I am older, and went to buy the Honda 400 trx. We were turned down by Honda, but we're approved by yamaha. so I went from spending 6700 to 8900 for the only Yamaha sport quad on the lot. I was going to order the raptor, but it was 18 bucks cheaper per month.so I pulled the trigger and went balls deep on the 450. I have been riding it for two days, and am finally getting used to it. Anyways thanks for having me and I'm stoked!

You for sure did not want a honda.
And definitely not a 400ex. You would've went to get the yfz soon enough.

Now that you're used to your YFZ, go ride the Honda 400. You'll laugh at how under-powered it seems. You made a good choice with the YFZ.

Welcome to the forum. A Honda 400 would have been a fail compared to any 450, although I race Hondas, I've ridden plenty of YFZRs and in stock form it smokes a stock Honda 450....Let's see some pics :)

Enjoy! I left a 2002 Honda 400ex onto a 2004 YFZ450 and needless to say you made the right decision.

How do you like it now that you have some seat time?
