Go for it love my x and I persoanlly would go with the houser fox setup........considering both mx and gncc champs run fox and my friend does and they are great and I dont know what the carb kit it is.......I know Bill Balance got rid of thr fuel injection and put in a carb maybe it is that aand they dont start as fast as the original yfz does but you can hook up a second battery to it and it will start really fast PM me for info on the 24v system if you have any questions.

I like gt thunder and HLS shocks. I know gncc pro yamaha riders use ohlins / houser or gt thunder / HLS . Gt thunder sells the carb conversion for the yfz450r/x. Which gncc champs run houser / fox?

hmf and gt thunder came together and started making shocks that are suppose to be better then stock and are compared to the aftermarket shocks at a cheaper price. i think gt thunder owns all of it now tho.

I love my houser/fox front end. It truly is amazing. My friend runs the ars/exit set up on his sled and he has nothing but praise for it. So I'm assuming it would be just as good on a quad. You'll be happy either way. Nice thing about the fox shocks though is they are lighter and the adjust-ability.
