Hey I was just curious to know what everyone here gets for top speed on their YFZ's. Mine is an 05 and It's bone stock and the other day my buddy was following me in his Jeep Cherokee on the road and he said I was doing 75, I wasnt even bouncing off of the rev limiter in fifth, it still had more to go, all the mags say like 70. So what do you guys get (stock)?

I didn't know jeeps could do 75 mph,

but anyways a stock yfz should top out at around 73-74 mph

mine has a Ready air filter, cammod, lid off, baffle out, jetted perfect and the rest is stock and i weigh 120. Mine was clocked at 80

stock tires and gearing will have you bumping the rev limiter in 5th at 77.5 to 78 mph (GPS)

To those of you who are factoring in weight and mods - it has nothing to do with top speed unless you have changed tire size or gearing, your top speed is going to be limited by those two factors alone....however how quickly you get there will be directly related to mods and weight.

Well bone stock, my buddy was following his Xterra and he said i was holding 83mph. One guy told me his went 90mph STOCK

I told him yeah but in my head i was thinking otherwise. It really just depends on the way you break it in don't it..????

Mine went 77 mph on gps all stock

my friend followed me in his truck he siad it was between 75 and 80 mines just jetted and pee shooter removed

I can hit 80 to 85 with a 14 t front sprocket and with a 15 t front sprocket the fastest i hit was 93 and that was with the wind at my back on a long azz street going kinda down hill.

I too scared to be boucing off my rev limiter in 5th gear :) I Fear that my 06 Wrist pin going to fail.

GO here to find out your top speed with your gearing and tire sizes

the sheet is set up with 12,000 rpms as redline but you can figure out yours out by changine the redline justbelow the tire sizes
