Default 12 yfz 450r

I'm planning on buying this machine as soon as my dirtbike sells. I currently have a 12 CRF 250R with only 4 hours on it and I should have bought the quad like I had intended to in the first place. I watch to much motocross and thought I could do it again but an old lower back injury can't take it anymore. How happy are you guys with this this machine?

Love my R. Perform the regular maintenance and it'll treat you well!

I've been researching the R's. How much difference between an '09 and a '12?? Slight or major?

Thanx

I'm looking forward to piloting one of these bad boys soon. I have seen many of the impressive machines you guys have built and look forward to doing the same myself. I like the look of the 09 with the red frame with white plastics but I will probably be getting the black and yellow.

Get the R over the carbed 12. You'll like the seat alot better not to mention the way it handles.

Anyone have a black & yellow done up yet. I would like to see some pics or be pointed to where they are.

I just picked up my 12 450r 2 weeks ago. I have a 07 pretty well modded, even in stock form I love the 450r. You will truly be shocked at the response and how easy it is to ride. Good luck to you man and enjoy it.
