I have Hipers and love them.
I bought mine used from the owner of a local shop at an unbelievable price but had to get one outer ring replaced because of a stripped bolt. Hiper (based of Lawrence, KS) had great customer support and it arrived at my home in Columbia, MO in 2 days. I'm a heavy guy (6'3, 240lbs) and I haven't had any problems with them as I thrash through the woods |

Honestly, it depends what you are doing. For XC like I was planning, Hipers all the way, however for MX, I am considering changing, but haven't decided.

I have Hipers right now and racing MX... they have worked fine for about 40 hours of riding. Gonna try out DWT now instead and see how it works. Since they are about half the price and i have Beadlock in the front and its just dumb racing MX

The DWT beadlocks arent really half the price. 8x8 single beadlock hiper cf1s are about $250 and hiper tech3 single beadlock 8x8 are $280. The DWT G2 beadlock rears are about $240-250 arent they? price wise they are all pretty close its just up to opinion on which you think looks better imo.

here's the way I look at it...after you buy a new set of dwt and ride them awhile
they become dull...hipers on the other hand stay cleaner and look better in the long run, I won't never switch to alum.wheels

Well I'm about to buy a set of DWT, the champion in a box set or what ever. You can't the rear hipers for the price of the whole DWT set. The Hipers are Great because they're prone to bend when you hit rocks or stumps. Is there any input on how tough either of them are?.. Not JUST looks?

I've been rolling with the same HiPer Tech3 wheels since 2005, and haven't had a problem to date. Hopefully, they're the last rims i'll have to buy for my Yamaha. :D

One race, one dented rim, losing air, retire, 50 races same track, no dents no deflating tire, is there a question here????
Love the Hipers

I love my Hiper tech 3s. I wanted a set for years and finally decided to pull the trigger. They look great and are easy to assemble. Granted, they cost a ton of money, but they look 10 times better than the champion in a box wheels. The only other wheel on the market that looks better in my opinion is the OMF bead locks. However they are aluminum and would require alot more care and maintanance to retain their good looks. I got all four of my Tech 3s for $650 shipped from Matt. I can pm you his info if your interested.

My wife and I have been running Hipers on our quads with no issues, they are very durable and simple to mount, etc. Before the switch we were running DWTs and found they were a good wheel, so it's just a matter of what you want/like.
