well i have a friend who has been away for 5 years with the military. He bought a 2005 yfz 450 brand new and then a year or so later go sent to an over seas assignment. He put the 450 in a garage and its been in there since. He only put around 40 hrs on it. He recently just found out he was going to be doing another overseas tour and asked me to purchase the bike for 2000. The bike has been in storage for 5 years and has mods as well. I am just curious if that would be a good deal. I understand i may need to put some money into it.
Thank you |

yeah that sounds like a good deal, does it start, it could be seized up from sitting so long, prob the battery might need replacing hopefully he stored it properly and there wasnt any gas in it but the carb would probably be in need of a good cleaning anyway.

very good deal, as stated above it will need a good going through as even sitting can have adverse effects on the fuel system.
