I have a 2006 450 that has ran great for years, I recently put a new piston and rings in it (stock size) and it ran great after however I didnt torque the head bolts correctly and the head gasket started leaking so I put a new head gasket on it and put it back together but know it cuts out after half throttle. Any suggestions??

I replaced the base gasted when i put the new top end on but after the heade gasket leaded No I didnt replace the base gasket it didn appear to have leaked, do you think a faulty base gasket would cuase it to cut out on top end?

Well I know what you're thinking and all I'm sayin is don't discount anything when it comes to the motor.
How ling did you run it with the head bolts being "torqued wrong"? What exactly does that mean? How's the plug? Have you tried to tune it out- i.e. your air/fuel screw or jetting? Something may not have been right to begin with even though it seemed to run good.
