Default HMF competition or performance exhaust??

I'm looking for exhaust for my 2008 YFZ 450 and I'm not sure if I should go with the HMF competition or performance series. What would you guys suggest?

I recently switched from the Ballance Edition to the Competition series and I love it. Go with the competition, it's hmf's best exhaust.

And which one of the tips do you use, and how loud is it?? Because as you know, they offer three different sized tips for that pipe. Right now i have my spark arrestor removed from my stock pipe, and i don't want to make it too much louder than it is now, but i don't want it to be too quiet either. from what I've read, the largest tip is just a little bit louder than a removed spark arrestor but i don't know that for sure

X2 with what he said. I run the 3rd insert the entire time. I'm not too picky on how loud a exhaust is along as it sounds good, then its all good.

did you have to adjust the jetting according to the temperature?? or was that jetting fine in the hot and cold?

just for the slip on, you would need a 170 main, and 48 pilot. if your at an elevation of 900ft, and 60 degrees F.
