i have a 2002 or 2003 HPI MT. pretty sure it was the first 4x4 race truck made.
ran the hell out of the stock motor and blew it up the first 6 months or so.
bought a Mugen 12 (the one's they used to put in the Serpent street race cars, LeMans look-a-like cars) in it.
ran one tank and then put it away.

still have it.
needs some new shocks and linkages and what not. i should get it runnin again.

oh and i'm 30

I used to competitively race a 1/10 Serpent Impulse (back before the 705 and the ground breaking 4 wheel steer 710) on road with a .12 Nova Rossi motor and a 1/10 Losi XXX-NT off road. Blew the Losi's OS .15 race motor and put in a .18 OS motor and raced in the Outlaw class. Good times. I miss it. I'll get back to it someday....I hope.

Damn I sound like a nerdy little kid hahahaha I don't care it was fun. Screw it haha laugh at me I don't care. I'm 24 and LOVED it. I can't wait to get back into it again!! It's a good stress reliever after a long week.

I used to be in to RCs pretty hardcore when I was in highschool, 14 years ago. I did pretty well at the races with my RC10 GT. Also built some crazy fast nitro and electric drag cars, the wrecks were amazing, total yard sale everytime! My dad worked with a guy who came to work one day and said he was quiting work to go on the pro curcuit with his son that had just got a huge contract with LOSI, apparently the kid tore it up at nations...must be nice. I have thought about getting back into it and really like the look of that Revo but I just dont have time anymore.

I know what ya mean, I used to race competitively, sponsors and all..my wife stumbled across a box of trophy's and talked ******* for days. I think dork was one of her favorite words that week. I have an RC10GT now that I mess around with. Like you said, screw it, its fun. Gets expensive though.

Hell yea it does. That Serpent was a money pit. I'm looking to get back into the stadium truck racing again. My brother has a RC10GT so I might pick up one of those to start racing with him again. It's a nice change of pace from MX......

I run electric rc.. I know they are not as fast in summer races, but being able to race indoor in the winter is a lot of fun. Traxxas Slash for me..

Although.. I might try to buy a revo soon

Yea I have the traxxas rustler also. Its fun, actually just brought it out of storage. Haven't run it in almost 7 years. I'm 21 now and looking to get a nitro truck or car can't decide. I like the t maxx but also like a few others. What's your oppinions on a good nitro truck . Thanks for any feedback.

Savage X is what you need to get if you are looking for a nitro truck. They can take the beating you give them. If you are interested in getting one I can sell you the jeep savage in the top pick. Shop around and you will see this is a great truck. If you need any more info I would be glad to help.
