I think a yellow frame would look good! 50 bucks for a frame is cheap!

If you have an r or x, be prepared to follow through! It took me two months to disassemble, label everything, powder everything, then put it back together. Efi bikes have a ton of shit to take apart!

i got an 08 yfz and it took me about 2 days because i only had 4 hrs a day but it was pretty simple and what i did was was black and i just bought hammered black from ace hardware but get 3 cans if yu go that way cus ur are going to wanna put 2 coats on atleast because of the way hammered comes out but it looks reali nice with a matte black but on the swing arm clean it up reali good and put 2 coats on and it turned out to be the best finish on the entire bike cus of the material the swing arm is made of but black is deffinatly the way to go o and also with the swing arm before i did anything to it i got a wire brush wheel for my drill and got as much as possible with that then soap n water then pressure washed but its best to take the swing arm off to paint to get full coverage but well worth the time if u want it to look nice all the way around

Id go with black or white and then put some color into the smaller parts. Here's a pic of mine in white/black right after I got the frame back
