$389 is for the full front/rear and gas tank piece. The sides and scoops I'm sticking with OEM since they are 1/4 of the price and mine are still fine. I'm not a fan of the shiny maier side pieces I prefer the matte OEM ones. I wish the maier had the black matte pieces on the rear too like OEM.

Just got them yesterday and looked them over. First thing I liked about them was the fact they dont have the indents for the warning labels and just have a sticker there you can easily remove. The brackets, which I will post a picture of, look like they would be pretty strong and not break like the oem plastic tabs.
One thing that really bugged me was the rear fenders dont have the pockets to put stuff in which really sucks for me. Another thing which I already knew before buying them was that they dont have the black plastic protectors on the rear fenders like the OEM do so your boots aren't killing the nice fenders. Overall they look pretty solid and I think are a little thicker than OEM. I didnt have the brackets fully bolted on in the picture, just lightly to get the idea as I dont know which way they need to face when I mount them yet. The brackets are slotted on both holes so you there should be a good amount of adjustment to get them to fit just how you want them regardless of bent parts elsewhere on the bike.

Not having the little compartment is probably nice for the racer (unless you have your PCV there). That "glove box" cubbyhole seems to hit my LSR subframe causing one the rear fender mount to be off.
That's a steal of a deal. I'm half/half on the the 1 piece rears. I like the fact you don't have the black pieces (one less thing to not fit properly). You could always put a graphics kit on what used to be the black plastic protectors.

Ya I guess for racing it would be pretty nice and I do have the MSD so I dont need it. Although I usually like to keep my truck keys or some tools for adjusting my shocks in there. I feel like the rear plastics are going to get beat up real bad without those protectors especially since they are black. The one thing I loved about my white plastics is they can get pretty beat up and its not as noticeable.

get a 12 inch by 12 inch sheet of just clear graphics, or black graphics and cut it to fit the area that your boot would hit and it won't cut it up.
seen that done alot
