Just got some Maier's from rockymountain atv. $389 shipped all black front and rear fenders aswell as the gas tank piece. I used the 10% coupon or else it would have been $432. They give you 10% coupons after every order.

$34 off Ebay or $160 from my local Yamaha dealer and that's for the Chrome/Silver ones. Mongrels wanted even more more Black ones!

I just got my set from curvy girl and it doesn't seem like are going to hold my plastic tight at all. I may be wrong because I haven't installed them yet, but has anyone else had any issues with these fasteners? During an xc race your bike absorbs a lot of shock and I don't want to loose something after a few laps.

Thanks.

Mine hold pretty tight. Might not seem like it if you are just messing around with them not installed on the plastics but you'll see once you get them on.

Mine are perfect too. Replaced some stock ones lost in crashes. This time I drilled small holes near each one and they are safety wired so even if it comes out, it will still be there.

Once you get them on the bike you will see they hold pretty good. Kurvey girl also includes an extra retaining washer for each fastener. put it on the stud before you install it in the plastic and it will make them a little tighter. i like the idea of wiring them to the bike. I know darn well eventually im going to drop one in the sand never to be found again if i dont do that.

I bought a set from KurveyGirl and I really like them. They mounted up great and hold well. I haven't rode much to see how they will hold up yet. I agree, the safety wire idea sounds pretty smart. I'll have to look into that.
