Default Pro Armor or GYTR nerfs?

I have narrowed it down to one of the two nerfs as I want ones with a lowered peg height. I like the looks of the pro armors better but the only thing holding me back is that the heel netting looks pretty weak. I'd hate to have to keep buying replacements as they want $40 just for the heel netting. Anyone running the pro armors have good luck with the nets not falling apart? The ones on the GYTR's look pretty solid.

I would go with the Pro Armor set. If worse comes to worse, I remember a member on here making netting out of some stronger stuff for the bottom part, maybe he could make some for the heel section that are stronger? Look up the post, I think he had contact info there.

I went with the GYTR's on mine mostly because from everything I read the fitment of the Pro Armor's was an issue. The GYTR nerfs bolted right up easily like they should.

I like my gytr other than I can't keep heel nets in it. I blow them out regularly

I was between the same two when I picked mine and ended up going with Pro Armor because they were over $100 cheaper than GYTR. The install is cake if you take your time when you do it. I havent had them long but they have held up great so far.

I love my Pro Armors. I've caught rocks, stumps, and other quads plenty of times and they still look great. Mounting wasn't a problem at all. Very simple. And if you don't like the heel nets, get the plate heels.

I love the GYTR full nerfs, I was going to go with Pro Armor but I like the idea of yamaha making them special for their quad

Pro Armor is a good choice though and any kind you get the nets will always be an issue at some point

DONT go with Rath...they have TERRIBLE customer service

im rockin pro armors and for the most part i love them. Only bad thing that happened was i blasted a tree sideways during an hair scramble and bent one of the foot peg weldments. Called pro armor and they overnighted me a new weldment for a fraction of the cost. Install was nice and easy (just bolt it all up lose like the instructions say) only other gripe i can think of was where the bars bolt to the weldment i was not happy with the thickness of the bolt so i put some nice thick ones in. Drilled the hole to fit. They are tough tho and the nets are not too bad ive only had to replace one. I cant speak to the GYTR ones but i know for a fact that the revos look mc nasty

Pro armors WILL break the rear fender brackets! ANY nerfs that use the rear fender bracket as a mount ARE TRASH! Pro Armor's rear nets will rub and break! I have went through 3 sets of Pro Armors and 4 sets of rear fender brackets! I went with Rath and they are FAAAAAAR worse! The rear nets broke on the first ride, the heal guards bent down one whole inch, and almost broke my ankle. Plus it took over a month to get the nerfs from Rath. Every ride I bend the heal guards back up if they did thier job. Houser has the design perfect except for the height of the pegs with the ball installed! Blingstar, AC Racing, and UM Racing also have a great design and a far better price!I ride every weekend and extreemly agressive motocross so I beat these things to hell. This is all my experince with bars I have had and not my friends! I post pictures if you want

Rath has terrible customer service and they are soooooooo slow...BBB should shut them down or make them change their policies

I ordered a set of nerf bars and wanted them powdercoated white...3 weeks later they haden't even taken them to the powdercoaters!!!! I had to cancel the order because I was moving and didn't have an address.

Long story short, it took 5 MONTHS TO GET A REFUND...I had to report them to the better business bereau just to get my money back, I left 12 voice mails and they never called me back...I even had 3 different people call with different numbers and they didn't call them back either!

My pro armors revos didn't fit worth a shit. Like mentioned above, I had to add some heavy duty bolts and I've already had to replace the heal guard nets. (actually I'm still waiting on them to get here) Once you do get them bolted on though, they look great and seem to be holding up well. I have mixed feelings about them. I like the looks and the they seem to be holding up well. However they honestly didn't fit worth a shit!
