I have not heard of any fit issues with the pro armor nerf bars until now. We sell tons of them and everyone seems to love the quality. Out of all the nerfs we sell I would say pro armor is the most popular.

That sucks about the refund mentioned above. We pride ourselves on customer service and super low prices. We are owned and run by riders who's whole goal is to hook riders up with great products at low prices. Check us out

Yeah, I would have thought Rath would have had better customer service...seems like all they care about is the racers they sponsor and money

Get the GYTR nerfs!!! I can send you a picture to show you how they bolt up, just let me know

Ok going to give you my input.. I have only ran AC Blackline Series, REM Nerfs & Hell Guards w/ IMS Pro Pegs, and now have a set of the new Houser Bounce Nerfs.....

AC's are one of the best buys I honestly think. Mine are 4 years old and have been beat and are still solid. I have replaced the cleats one time and also the nets once.
Was extremely happy with the pegs being dropped down and back made riding a lot more comfortable.. Installed easliy also....

REM's were on the quad I purchased from Ballance and was extremely impressed with the quality, and strength of them. Replaced the nets one time also and have had to remove them and reinstall several times for powdercoating. Needless to say the fit and install is simple. Was also very impressed with the control and comfort of them..

Houser Bounce Nerfs haven't had a chance to ride on them yet other than on a buddies Honda 450r which impressed me enough to buy a set for my 2007 YFZ 450 rebuild. They look really good on the quad and seem to be well thought out design. Not sure how long it will take to get use to the raised peg height due to the isolation ball. Now as far as fitment not going to lie mine were a pain in the ass.

The reason I am saying all this all three of these choices are not the cheapest on the market, but remember you get what you pay for. I would rather spend $400-500 one thime an them last for 3-5 years then to have to replace nerfs every 1-2 years

Yeah the Pro Armors fit like crap so I called them and told them they must of sent the wrong ones....The tech told me that you have to put all the bolts in a few turns then you can tighten them. great advice and fitment from the factory uh? Its not me, its the bars! 3 other people with the bars I race with have the same problem. They should come with extra brackets. Dont buy!

Just got the pro armors a bit ago and had a chance to install them. Which way did you guys install the footpeg tubes? Do they make it this way so you can pick the peg height or is there only 1 way your supposed to put them on. Looks like if I flipped them i could have got them a bit lower.

I believe that they only go on one way. I'm trying to remember how they went on its been a year and half since I mounted them. Are they the revo's or something else?

They are revos. Depending on how you flip the tube you can have the footpeg tube above or below the mounting bolts.

Oh, I did not know that. So the pegs fit with no problems flipped either way?

I set mine so that the tube is higher than the bolts. I believe this is the way the instructions told me to install them. I doubt all of the mounting points would line up if you flipped them. Especially the one that bolts to the rear fender bracket.

I installed them with the tube above the bolts aswell. I had to buy a set of fender bracket and they were really bent and had to bend them to fit even in that position so curious if it goes both ways. Would be nice to sit even lower.

I pay at lot for my Pro Armor's at the sand sports supper show in last year. I made 4 trips out to Por Armor to after fitment problems.
Por Armor told me there was something wrong with my new 2009 450r and there was nothing rowing with there bars. Aslo to jam the bars on the bike that would have put a tun of load on the bolts. I said no No thanks and asked for my money back. I did get my money back on the 4th trip and 5 phone calls. Did not like when the owner or the man with the go-T looked at me like an idiot when I told him I worked at a auto body shop and I know when something is not going to fit.

long and the short of it I now have the GYTRŪ Nerf Bars for not much more cash. love them, Also fit with no BS

I mounted my Pro Armors in about 10 minutes with no problems. They fit great, look awesome, and they work better than anything else I have used. Coming off the line I have been SLAMMED by other racers and it hasn't bent them, scratched them, cracked the welds, or anything. I have had them for awhile and the net's aren't even frayed. The mounts are awesome, and they are the best quality nerfs I have bought. I wouldn't hesitate one bit to buy another set.
