Default Replacement fenders

So I bought some new OEM plastics for my R and noticed that the rear plastics were "warped" a little bit on one side, kind of like they had something sitting on them in the wherehouse or something. I thought, no big deal, so I mounted it up thinking that having it bolted down will make it flex back into shape. Well the left side still sits slightly lower than the right. My question is, if I apply some heat with a heat gun or hair dryer to the stressed areas that it will realease the "memory" helping to make it look more even? Any thoughts?

I know I could have the rears reordered but would rather not at this point.
Thanks in advance.
