What is the CECCO bracket - Yamaha YFZ450 Forum : YFZ450, YFZ450R, YFZ450X Forums

Hey guys i am rebuilding for the 2012 race season and im considering a long travel houser and fox or custom axis shocks or might stay stadered travel with my 18.25'' foxs i have now but i read about this CECCO bracket that comes with a-arm kit .. its vauge on what it is and what it changes can someone inform me or post pictures to show me ? btw i am going with houser racing as my nerfs grab bar and stem are all houser i plan to get swingarm in the summer

Traci Cecco uses it to hold her tits in place while racing. Works great, a must have!

its a bracket to fix the stock caster and camber. because stock without it you will have pushing in the turns when braking and gasin. this bracket helps abunch i recommen it

As far as I know...it doesn't affect camber...only caster...brings it down a few degrees..basically for easier turning in the tight stuff.

by the looks of it you have to buy a a-arm kit ... is this someting you could do with uppers only ?

Houser could do this for us by just making oem length upper a arms with the bracket....but then they wouldn't make as much money as they can selling us upper and lower a arms.

Walsh offers us upper a arms only with what appears to be some sort of bracket.......but they're $500. Cheapest offering of upper a arms only appears to be asr. I just wonder if they have enough adjustment capabilities to justify the purchase.
I figure that may be the best route for me because I'll never be more than a b class rider, so I probably wouldn't even need any more than what the asr offers.

Gtthunder also sells just the uppers with castor bracket,
that's the route I went and just kept my lowers.

I see yours is an x. Did you convert your x to R width or are you still running x width? Just wondering if they offer this for both the R and the X because I didn't see them on their webpage. What did they cost you if you don't mind me asking. Thanks man

mine is the X model and staying that way...not sure if he uses the castor bracket for MX but it wouldn't hurt to call him..I got a great deal from sponsorship, which is a really good program thru GTT.
