different linkages with the right shock to go with it has better leverage ratios, travel
etc....it's hard to get a good shock setup with stock linkage.

I've got the GT linkage and the only difference I could tell is when I come down to hard or land flat. It kind of eases the landing a bit. I'm not sure if it was really worth the money honestly, theres not that big of a difference. I had my shock setup with the linkage by GT Thunder.

I went ahead and ordered a PEP rear but it's waiting for my linkage choice. I haven't had enough time to cal JB and ask him, but I have heard the same results as BBC stated.

I don't think it is worth rebuilding the rear given the limits of a stock shock vs aftermarket. I think it will be much better having a full aftermarket shock than a rebuilt rear.

I race MX.

Which pep rear did you go with and how much do they normally cost? You can pm me if you want. I'm thinking of getting a new rear shock and so far had my eyes on the gen2 podium or motowoz since you can get a pretty good deal on them. I have the GTThunder MX link on my bike aswell but i havent rode with it yet.
